Terms of Use

B4UDrink is designed to help adults of legal drinking age understand the factors that affect their blood alcohol concentration (BAC).

If you are under 21 years of age, B4UDrink should be used only in a college or school instructional setting or in conjunction with a licensed driver education program.

The information presented in B4UDrink should not replace your own responsible decision-making about drinking alcohol, or about whether and when it will be safe for you to drive after drinking alcohol. If in doubt, don't drive.

Before using B4UDrink, you should know that:

- All states recognize 21 as the legal age for purchasing and possessing alcohol.

- The calculations for Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) presented in B4UDrink assume that you are drinking on an empty stomach.

- No one should drive or operate machinery if there is any question of their being affected by alcohol.

- B4UDrink does not reflect the potentially adverse interaction of alcohol with prescription, over-the-counter, or illegal drugs.

- Mixing any drug with alcohol can be dangerous to you and to others.

- The BAC levels and effects used here are approximations based on research among adults of legal age or older.
